In the spring, I took a land-lording course. I plan to continue my learning from that course to prepare to be a landlord in my soon to be duplex! The goal is to be living mortgage free in a few months once the renovations are done and a renter is in place, and to have the skills necessary to be a competent landlord (my husband and I) and have quality tenants who have been properly screened.
